Raúl Díaz de León joined ValleyCrest Companies in April 2002. He oversees all Human Resources functions including Employee Relations, Benefits, Recruiting, Compensation, Training, and Organizational Development.
Before joining ValleyCrest, Raúl was Director of Human Resources at Universal Studios, Inc. where he managed Corporate Diversity and Compliance initiatives. During his eight years at Universal Studios, Raúl worked with the company's Corporate Human Resources Department on diversity, affirmative action, compliance, training, employment, and employee relations initiatives. Prior to Universal Studios, Raúl spent ten years with the City of Los Angeles' Personnel Department, an experience that led to his managing the Department of Water and Power's Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Compliance Department.
Raúl received his B.A. and M.P.A from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Upon completing his education, Raúl worked for his alma mater for five years in Student Affairs. Raúl is committed to his community and is active in local non-profit organizations focusing on youth services and education. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Youth and Family Ministries for his home church and most recently served as Chairman of the Board of Los Angeles-based Youth Opportunities Unlimited. |
