Jon Wyman joined ValleyCrest in the newly created role of Vice President, Business Development in February, 2008. Jon’s primary responsibility is to grow ValleyCrest Design Group and to identify and capture opportunities to cross-sell all of ValleyCrest’s landscape services including construction and maintenance and the company’s pioneering integrated design-build offering.

Prior to ValleyCrest, Jon was Vice President and Director of Business Development for SB Architects in their San Francisco, California headquarters, with additional responsibility for growing the firm’s Miami, Florida location. In six years with SB Architects, Jon was critical in repositioning the firm into a major player in the mixed-use/retail and high-end hospitality markets around the world—resulting in over 200% growth in revenues during his tenure. In addition, Jonathan was instrumental in the firm’s re-branding efforts. Prior to SB Architects, Jon was Director of Business Development at Ai, an architectural and interior architectural firm based in Washington, D.C., which has since been acquired by Perkins + Will.

Jon graduated from Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, with a B.A. in the History of Art and Architecture, followed by post-graduate coursework at Columbia University School of Architecture, New York, New York, and in Paris, France. He has been an active member of The Urban Land Institute having been heavily involved in the Young Leaders Program and having served on its San Francisco Events Planning Committee.
